We have 19 individually designed Hotel Rooms

Check out each of our 16 rooms and 3 cottages, each dedicated and inspired by a Scandinavian celebrity. Choose by design or personality and play the part. The list below is organized from our largest cottage down to our coziest room.

Want to know which floor the rooms are situated on? Click your way through the rooms listed below and read the fact box on the right. As there's no elevator to take you to the second and third floor that information might come in handy if you travel with heavy luggage or a wheel chair.

Eliel & Eero Saarinen

Go to list
A spacious room with eclectic architectural features, distinct hints of ‘Starship Enterprise’ and an en-suite living room with a pull-out sofa.
Both Eliel and his son Eero were born on August 20th – 37 years apart, 1873 & 1910. They were both born in Finland but emigrated together to the United States in 1923.

The elder, Eliel, had a profound interest in the total idea of the city and designed entire city districts of Helsinki, but they were never finished due to high expenses. Always interested in city planning, he became planning consultant to Budapest and Estonia.

Eero, who learnt from his dad, was a fluid architect whose new vision created some of the most familiar structures in the United States, including the TWA Flight Center at JFK, Washington Dulles International Airport, the Kresge Auditorium at MIT, and the famous Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri.

Eliel & Eero collaborated on numerous projects with great success.
