Cotton is the most heavily sprayed field crop on the planet, 25 % of all pesticides is applied to cotton. In the US app. 200 chemicals are applied to one single plant. Coyuchi is working with only 100 % certified organic cotton. They have also started fair trade projects with their cotton producers as part of their humanitarian approach to business.
