Reservation, Cancellation & Early Departure Policies

All rates are subject to 4% housekeeping service charge. In addition, state & local taxes of 12.1% will be applied to all room charges.

Deposit

50% deposit of total stay amount is needed to guarantee the reservation.
All reservations must be secured by credit card at time of booking.

Notification of Cancellation (based on your arrival date):

c/o The Maidstone is a small boutique hotel; because of that we are significantly affected by cancellations. As a result, we must adhere to a strict cancellation policy - No exceptions.

30 days or more prior to arrival: Your deposit will be refunded to you less a $50.00 cancellation fee per room per night.
Between 29 days and 8 days prior to arrival: Your deposit is forfeited.
7 days prior to arrival, early departures or no shows: You will be charged for the total stay amount (Including any pre-arranged services)

All cancellations must be in writing, by email or fax.

Extra Person in Room

$75 per night (4 years old & above)
$50 per night (3 years old & under)

**c/o The Maidstone is a non-smoking hotel. If you have the urge to smoke, you are of course welcome to puff away in our beautiful garden! However, guests smoking in any hotel room will be charged an extra night’s fee for the cost of returning the room to a non-smoking status

Well-behaved children are always welcome at c/o The Maidstone!
We encourage treating Kids like the small people that they are. We have designed a special menu that features smaller portions of delicious food so that children can savor the meal and have the same culinary experience as their parents.

**We will happily arrange for a babysitter if you should need one.

c/o The Maidstone Pet Policy

Pets: $25 per night per pet
Well-behaved pets are always welcome at c/o The Maidstone - please respect the right of your fellow guests to "quiet enjoyment" by keeping pet noise to a minimum.

Naturally, our four-legged guests will be provided with water bowls and treats upon arrival. Our room service menu includes delicious options for our furry friends as well.

Pets should never to be left in the rooms unattended unless they are well behaved and quiet; in which case we will require a cell phone number so we can reach you if any problems should arise.

Please inspect your room upon check- in. Any damages caused during your Pet’s visit will be charged to your credit card on file.

Dogs are allowed to roam free on the East Hampton beaches between 6 pm to 9 am.

If your pet needs a walk, grooming or a veterinarian, our concierge has all the right contacts!

**Always remember to please pick up after your pet. Plastic bags are available if needed. Outdoor garbage cans are to be used for disposal of doggie bags.
